It is gold in color, 7 cm in diameter and 7 mm thick. It will go to those who will cross the finish line of the 17th PKO Poznan Halfmarathon on Sunday, April 13, 2025. The halfmarathon medal will remind runners and joggers of a historical event that took place 1,000 years ago.

We are talking about the first royal coronations in Polish history. In 1025, this honor was bestowed on two Polish rulers – Boleslaw Chrobry and his son Mieszko II. On the reverse of the medal, the contestants will see the outline of the royal crown and the slogan: “1000 years of golden crowns.” The names of the rulers will be engraved on the edge of the medal.
The obverse is also attractive, decorated with a graphic depicting Poznan townhouses. This motif is already familiar to runners and joggers from the official start T-shirt. The sash with which the medals will be equipped also refers to the graphic layout present on the T-shirts.
As always, participants in the Poznań Half Marathon will have the opportunity to have their name and the result achieved at the finish line engraved on the medal. Those who wish to choose this option can order it in advance by marking the appropriate place in the application form. It will also be possible to decide on engraving the medal on the day of the race at the point performing this service near the finish line. The cost of engraving is PLN 25.

We would like to remind you that until March 7 you can sign up for the 17th PKO Poznań Half Marathon at the lower price of PLN 200. Starting March 8, there will be an increase in the entry fee to PLN 240. On the other hand, ordering the official T-shirt at the price of PLN 70 will only be possible until March 13.
