As part of the start package, each competitor will receive:

T-shirt

The official T-shirt of the 17th PKO Poznań Half Marathon is decorated with a graphic showing building houses. These characteristic houses, next to the Town Hall in the Old Market Square, are one of the landmarks of Poznan. This local accent will make the T-shirt a unique souvenir of the run for both Poznan citizens and visitors from outside.

You can purchase the T-shirt for PLN 70 by registering for our run until March 13, 2025. Those who have already signed up can order an official T-shirt by logging in to their runner profile.

We would like to remind you about the additional possibility of personalizing the T-shirt at a cost of PLN 25. Each runner can create any imprint of up to 15 characters (including special characters, numbers and spaces) on his/her half-marathon t-shirt. Personalized technical t-shirts will be available for pickup during the issuance of start packages in Hall 3 of MTP. The service is available during run registration and in the runner’s profile until March 13.

Pacemakers

Pacemakers are the people who lead the competitors from the start to the finish line for a specific time. The task of pacemakers is to help all willing competitors to reach the finish line in the intended time.

We have prepared for you 9 teams of pacemakers leading runners for the following times: 1:30, 1:35, 1:40, 1:45, 1:50, 1:55, 2:00, 2:05, 2:10.

How to recognize a pacemaker?

Each pacemaker will be equipped with a tall hussar-type flag with an inscription indicating the intended net time.

Transport

As in previous years, competitors participating in the 17th PKO Poznań Half Marathon on April 11-13, 2025. will have the opportunity to travel in Poznań public transport completely free of charge. Free travel is possible in zones A + B + C. During the possible ticket inspection, you must show your starting number along with your ID document.

Starting zones

At the 17th PKO Poznan Half Marathon the start will take place in five waves. The zones will start as follows: AA+A+B, C, D, E, F, with an interval of about 5-7 minutes. The letter “W” on the map will mark the wheelchair runners taking part in the half marathon. Remember to line up correctly in your starting zones where you declared your participation in the half marathon. This will help you and other runners avoid unpleasantness at the start of the race and during the warm-up.
