Limit is increased – we are getting closer to the record!

Not 13,000, but 14,000 athletes may line up at the starting line of the 17th PKO Poznań Half Marathon. Increasing the limit brings the Poznań event closer to the record attendance.

We made the decision to add an additional thousand starting packets by observing the dynamics of registration. We are approaching the original limit, but we are ready to accept more runners. We invite you to take advantage of this opportunity! – says the director of the Poznań Half Marathon, Łukasz Miadziołko.

This is not the only change that the organizers have made to the rules of the 17th PKO Poznan Half Marathon. The possibility of rewriting the start package to another person in case a participant finds that he or she will not be able to appear at the start has also been extended. This option will be possible until April 9, 2025.

What remains unchanged is the current entry fee: PLN 240. Registration takes place through the entry form. It will run until April 10, 2025, or the new limit is sold out. If there are still spots after that date, those willing to take part will be able to sign up in person at the race office at the Poznań International Fair (April 11 and 12) at a cost of PLN 300.

Will there be a record attendance?

The record number of participants who completed the Poznań Half Marathon was recorded in 2016. At that time, 11347 people crossed the finish line. It is worth remembering that always the number of runners who show up at the start line is lower than the number of participants who signed up.

– We will be happy if we can improve our record result – says Łukasz Miadziołko – However, we can’t do it without you. I hope that together we will achieve this goal and show that Poznań loves running. We invite you to beat the record together!

The title sponsor of the run is PKO Bank Polski. The event is also supported by Dr Witt, Fundacja Pho3nix, Żabka, Body Chief, Browar Fortuna, Veolia, Makarony Czaniecki and Aquanet.
