New route for the Poznań Half Marathon!

The Poznań Half Marathon is introducing a completely new course for its 18th edition, with several thousand runners set to take to the streets on Sunday, April 19. This year’s event will also begin at a new time, with the race starting at 9:00 a.m.

While the finish line of the 18th PKO Poznań Half Marathon will once again be located at Plac Marka on the grounds of the Poznań International Fair, the start line is being moved from Grunwaldzka Street. This year, runners will set off from Roosevelta Street, right by the main entrance (East Hall) to the fairgrounds.

Runners taking part in the 18th PKO Poznań Half Marathon can explore the new course on the event’s official website. It will feature an interactive map showing not only the route and refreshment stations, but also interesting facts about nearby tourist attractions.

The organizers are also pleased to announce that earlier this year, the Poznań Sports and Recreation Centres extended their partnership with the race’s title sponsor, PKO Bank Polski.

So far, more than 11,500 runners have signed up for the April race. The entry limit is 14,000 participants, and registration is available online via the official entry form. This year’s event will also include competition for athletes using racing wheelchairs.
