What is the distance and how to get from the train station, bus station or the airport to the halfmarathon office?

Detailed information can be found in section Directions. The distance to the halfmarathon office from the train station is about 1,7 km, from the bus station about 2 km, and from the airport about 6 km.

What is the distance and how to get from the train station, bus station and airport to the start line?

Detailed information can be found in section Directions. The distance to the start from the train station is about 5 km, from the bus station about 4,7 km, and from the airport about 12 km.

Are halfmarathon participants entitled to a discount for PKP?

No.

Can halfmarathon participants use city transportation free of charge?

No.

Where is the closest car park?

You can use:

  • Malta Ski car park at Arcybiskupa Antoniego Baraniaka Street (on the start day entrance to Baraniaka Street until 600 am)
  • car park at Malta Gallery shopping centre. The Gallery is located at Arcybiskupa Antoniego Baraniaka Street, entrance from Kaliska Street / Nowowołkowyska Street(distance from the start line about 500 m)
  • car park at Wileńska Street. The entrance from Warszawska Street / Krańcowa Street (distance from the start line about 1500 m)
  • car park at M1 shopping centre (distance from the start line about 3,2 km)
  • car parks on the Tysiąclecia Estate (distance from the start line about 1 km)
Does the organizer provide free accommodation?

Yes. The organizer provides free accommodation in the night of 31.03.2012 to 01.04.2012 at the Sports Hall, Chwiałkowskiego Street 34, to all willing participants. The requirement is to select the "free accommodation" option in the registration form. The competitors shall be accepted for accommodation upon presenting the start number. The organizer does not provide sleeping bags or mattresses.

What if I did not select the "free accommodation" option in the registration form and I would like to use it?

Inform the halfmarathon office by phone or by e-mail. If there is vacancy in the sports hall, there will be no obstacles to use the accommodation.

Does the organizer provide transport from the free accommodation to the start line?

Yes. There are coaches of the Municipal Transport Enterprises provided which will take the competitors to the start line. This service is free of charge. Departure times will be given a few days before the halfmarathon.

Is the halfmarathon office involved in booking paid accommodation?

No. Paid accommodation must be booked independently. Popular places can be found in section Accommodation.
