- Who is a pacemaker?

Pacemaker is a person who from the start to finish leads the race (usually constant pace) for a specified time. The task of pacemakers is to help all willing competitors to reach finish line in the intended time. Most pacemakers will lead the following times: 1:30, 1:40, 1:50, 2:00.
- How to recognize a pacemaker?

Pacemakers are dressed in T-shirts in vivid colours and equipped with balloons showing time.
- Where are the changing rooms for runners located?

The changing rooms will be located near the finish line in canoe hangars. In section Directions you will find more information about the start area.
- Will I be able to buy nutrition supplements at Malta on the day of the halfmarathon?

No. Stands with sports equipment (including nutrition supplements) will be located only at the Expo Fair at Arena Hall on 30-31.03.2012.
- What is the time limit in the halfmarathon?

The limit is 3 hours. The halfmarathon route is closed for traffic. Runners who will fail to finish the race until 115 pm will be obliged to stop running and get to the finish line by a shuttle bus marked with the inscription "Koniec Półmaratonu" ("End of the Halfmarathon").

The chip should be fixed to the shoelace.

No.

- How can I help the runner injured as a result of an accident?

If you see a runner who is knocked over or lying on the street, stop and ask if he/she needs help. If so, stay with him/her and seek help. At each nutrition point there is medical assistance and additionally on the race course there is an ambulance following the race. On the back of each start number there should be necessary data about the runner including contact to the family. If necessary, do not be afraid to give first aid!
- What can I find at the nutrition points?

Water and isotonic beverages.
- What is the distance between the nutrition points?

Nutritions points will be located every 5 km or so. The tables at the nutrition points will be arranged as follows:
- the first one – container with water for sponges,
- the second one – water,
- the third – isotonic beverages (Powerade).
- How are distances marked on the course?

Each kilometre of the route will be marked.
- Can I put my own nutrition supplements at the nutrition points?

No.
- Are there going to be massages provided at the start and finish line?

Yes. Massage points will be located in the route every 5 kilometres. At the finish zone a massage point will be located in the canoe hangars.
